I want to commend Jared on his extreme helpfulness in renting, occupying, and generally all around navigating your facility. He is unfailingly unflappable, and made the whole experience very pleasant. I have several units there in Berkeley and managing them is somewhat complicated. With a less kind person, I might have come away with a poor impression of Secure Space.

Recently I visited SecureSpace Self Storage on Shattuck in Berkeley to research units because I am in the market to move from another storage space. I met Tavio at the front desk, and told him the approximate size I was looking for. He was very helpful in walking me through several currently open units so that I could compare sizes and prices, and get a sense of the building as a whole. Tavio was attentive, cheerful, and patient (I asked a lot of questions!) He wrote down the specifics and costs for me to take home and consider. He also gave me good advice about ideal times during the year to rent a unit; June was one of those times, so I am keeping that in mind. Tavio has a warm, welcoming persona which creates a positive impression for future potential renters such as myself. I came away from my visit to SecureSpace Self Storage with a lot of useful information, and I thank Tavio for that. I hope to be back.

I had a really positive experience at this storage facility. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was great. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole process was simple and stress-free. Jared was the one who helped me, and he did an awesome job. He was friendly, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions. He walked me through the steps, showed me the unit, and made sure I understood everything before I left. It made the whole experience feel way easier than I expected. If you’re looking for a storage place with good prices, smooth service, and staff who actually care, I definitely recommend coming here—ask for Jared!

Jared was amazing. He noticed on the cameras that I was struggling while moving items out of my storage unit and came over to help. Extremely satisfied with my initial experience renting a unit from SecureSpace Self Storage in Berkeley. The staff have been really helpful every step of the way. Jared took the time to help me select the best unit for my needs. He also provided helpful tips to make my move in a breeze as I was unloading items I had previously stored in a moving pod. The leasing experience was efficient and to the point. Support that I have received over the phone has also been helpful. From what I have seen, the units all appear clean and the site is well maintained. Also, the location is convenient. Plenty of places to unload. Just be sure to pay attention to access hours as access is not 24/7.
